Specifically, the Golden State Investment Fund targets:

• Companies with traditionally limited access to institutional equity capital;
• Companies located in or employing residents of economically disadvantaged or underserved areas;
• Women or minority-owned, -managed, and/or
  -targeted businesses;
• Companies in California’s rural areas or emerging urban areas.

The fund invests through two investment channels:

• Fund partnerships
• Companies

The Golden State Investment Fund is managed by Hamilton Lane, a leading global private equity asset management firm.
